About the Role:
This role presents a rare opportunity to join a growing structural team within a well-established consultancy, providing critical expertise across a range of complex structural projects. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Structural Engineer with 5-6 years of experience to contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of innovative engineering solutions.
You will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects, including marine structures, large-scale residential, and commercial developments. This role will challenge and develop your technical expertise, particularly in concrete design, while offering the chance to work closely with a high-performing team and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare proposals for new enquiries
- Prepare detailed designs, specifications and documentation for projects
- Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
- Prepare timely, accurate invoices and issue to clients
- Interface with clients including supporting and educating them on best practice
- Apply a solid understanding of engineering principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems
- Contribute to project management, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 5-6 years of structural engineering experience, with broad exposure across marine, residential, and commercial projects.
- Strong proficiency in concrete design and structural analysis software including Spacegass.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and safety regulations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
