About the role:

  • Designing, developing, and delivering strategic communication plans, comprised of clear, concise, and effective messaging and products for people with disability, their families and carers, staff and partners, and the disability community.
  • Embedding inclusive and accessible principles in all communication approaches and collateral.
  • Providing specialist advice and interpretation of communication processes, guidelines, and policies.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to scope needs, resolve issues and achieve positive outcomes.
  • Assisting with scheduling, coordination, and publishing communication content.
  • Undertaking a wide variety of general tasks as required, including but not limited to managing inbox enquiries, preparing reports on communication activities, and providing content to varied internal stakeholders.
  • Working as part of a high performing team, maintaining local relationships


About you:

  • You will have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • You will have strong engagement with multiple stakeholders.
  • You will have ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content tailored to different audiences.
  • You will have experience in developing content for a range of channels including websites, social media, newsletters, and internal communications.
  • You will have strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships and gather input for communications.
  • You will have ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines.


Benefits:

  • ASAP start (pending Federal Police Clearance)
  • 12 month temporary casual assignment
  • Full time hours Monday to Friday
  • Geelong, Melbourne, or Sydney locations + hybrid working from home options
  • $55.24 per hour + Super
