Storeperson

Chandler Macleod is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. As a Storeperson at our client’s steel distribution facility, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to load, unload, and move steel products within the warehouse and distribution centre.
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to safely move steel products, raw materials, and finished goods in the warehouse or yard.
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling and storage of materials.
• Inspect and maintain forklift equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.
• Follow all safety protocols, guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Assist in inventory control and order fulfillment, ensuring accurate stock levels.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics teams.
• Adhere to company policies regarding safety, quality, and work procedures.

• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Valid forklift operator ticket.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and in a team environment.
• Good communication skills.
