We are currently working with a leading mining company who is looking to engage a Site Support Specialist
to join their team for a 6-month contract (with potential extension)

About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Manager of Site Support, you will become a strategic partner to the Leadership Team. As the Site Support Specialist, you’ll be adept at extracting insights from diverse data sources and communicating them in a way that guides leadership decision-making, optimises resource allocation, and ensures successful delivery of high-impact projects and programs
Responsibilities:
- Translate corporate objectives into actionable plans, manage their execution, and report progress to ensure strategic delivery
- Plan, track, and manage projects to generate value and achieve outcomes
- Make strategic, evidence-based decisions aligned with long-term business objectives
- Engage with and manage a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Lead presentations and facilitate workshops using storytelling to engage and influence stakeholders
- Implement and evaluate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, effectiveness, and efficiency
- Apply change management methods and tools to ensure smooth transitions aligned with business objectives
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both business and engineering principles. You will bring a blend of strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and operational expertise. To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
- Experience in consulting and/or restructuring roles
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across different business areas
- Demonstrated capability in project scoping, planning, and execution using a disciplined approach
