This agency is known for having a great culture across different teams and have excellent office locations.  A great opportunity for an experienced Senior Business Case Cost Modelling officer to join a busy team.


About the role:


•    Developing, managing and implementing project plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency’s project management framework.
•    Contributing to project design, governance arrangements and operational integration.
•    Excel modelling 
•    Cost benefit analysis drafting 
•    Ensuring project deliverables and milestones are met on time and within budget.
•    Researching, reviewing and evaluating projects in specific operational or technical areas.
•    Reporting on project outputs to stakeholders and overseeing regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports.
•    Preparing and reviewing written material including business cases, plans, reports and executive briefs and corporate documentation.
•    Identifying, assessing, managing, escalating and monitoring project risks, issues and benefits, including developing treatment strategies.
•    Analysing project performance and coordinating quality management activities to ensure that project deliverables are fit for purpose and meet client needs


About you:

•    Technical, accounting and finance advice experience and skills.
•    Excel modelling experience
•    Project risks experience 
•    Experience in financial strategies and policies
•    Experience written material including various briefs, reports, discussion papers, and financial Strategic Plan.
•    Experience managing highly complex or sensitive finance functions, projects, and work programs.
•    Executive Leadership experience
•    Stakeholder Management experience
•    Public sector experience

Benefits:

•    ASAP start (pending Federal Police Clearance)
•    6 Months Assignment with the possibility of extension
•    Full time hours Monday to Friday 
•    Geelong or Melbourne locations + hybrid working from home options. 
•    $60.26 to $80.00 per hour + Super
