Project Officer

Location: Melbourne CBD – Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days work from home)
Full time temporary contract duration: Until June 30, 2025

Are you passionate about renewable energy and eager to contribute to Victoria’s transition to a clean energy future? Chandler Macleod is seeking a  Specialist Project Officer to play a pivotal role in developing and implementing generator access and connection solutions.

As a Specialist Project Officer, you will:

• Support the development and execution of solutions for generator access and connections in REZs.
• Contribute to policy development, problem definition, options assessment, and stakeholder consultation.
• Implement policies and projects, including program, tender, and system design.
• Prepare high-quality written documents, project plans, and timelines.

• Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in public policy, economics, engineering, law, science, or an energy-related field.
• Experience:
• Demonstrated expertise in policy development and project implementation.
• Strong skills in document preparation, project planning, and timeline development.
• A background in the energy sector, particularly renewable energy development and planning (desirable).
• Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen ability to manage diverse tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
