Location: Bowen Basin, DIDO – Camp Accommodation Provided
Duration: 6-12 months, commencing ASAP, with potential for extension
Roster: 7/7, 12.5 hours per day (Wednesday to Tuesday)
 
We are seeking experienced Mobile Operators for critical equipment roles to join a major client in the Bowen Basin. If you have experience operating a range of heavy machinery, including KOM 830/930 Dump Trucks, Cat 6040 Excavators, or equivalent, this is an exciting opportunity to join a leading team in a dynamic mine site environment.
 
Essential Requirements:

• Experience operating KOM 830/930 Dump Trucks & Cat 6040 Excavators or WA1200 Wheel Loaders (or equivalent).
• Demonstrated mine site experience and a strong understanding of mining operations.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work safely in a team environment.
• Ability and willingness to learn autonomous mining systems.
• Current valid driver’s licence.
• Strong commitment to safety and proactive approach to risk management.
• Operate equipment in the Autonomous Coal Mining department, as required.

• Experience operating additional machinery such as Cat D10/11 Track Dozers, Cat 834H Wheel Dozers, Cat 24 Graders, Cat 785 Water Trucks, or equivalent.

• Operate and maintain a range of critical mining equipment, including KOM 830/930 Dump Trucks, Cat 6040 Excavators, and Wheel Loaders (WA1200 or equivalent).
• Follow safety procedures and work effectively within a team environment.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery, while adhering to company policies and safety standards.
