Financial Data Analyst – 8-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)
Location: Fremantle
Monday to Friday | 40 Hours Per Week

Are you a detail-oriented Financial Data Analyst with a passion for transforming complex data into actionable insights? Our client, a highly regarded organisation based in Fremantle, is seeking a Financial Data Analyst to join their team on an 8-month contract, with the potential for extension. Working within the Asset Management, Strategy & Planning team, this role is responsible for cost analysis of the Assets Maintenance Data, compiles, and manages Asset Life Cycle Costing data.
 
What You’ll Be Doing:

• Analyse historical asset maintenance and operational cost data to identify trends, cost drivers, and optimisation opportunities
• Provide support and participate in the development, implementation, maintenance, and review of asset management plans
• Support cost-benefit analysis for asset renewal, replacement, and maintenance strategies
• Ensure alignment of asset cost data with financial planning frameworks and asset management strategies
• Gather and integrate data from Oracle to update and refine Life Cycle Cost Models for all asset classes
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency by implementing robust data verification and cleaning
• Support other divisions on Asset Life Cycle Costing status inquiries and reports

• Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
• Analytical and conceptual skills including the ability to analyse data, identify anomalies and implement appropriate solutions
• Experience with ports or maintenance environment is desirable
• Experience in financial analysis, cost modelling, or asset maintenance finance
• Knowledge of ERP financial systems for cost tracking and reporting
