Financial Business Partner | Mining
 
We are currently working with a leading mining and resources company who is looking to engage a Financial Business Partner to join their dynamic team for a 4-month contract (with potential extension). This role will be based in South Perth and will be the primary finance contact for assigned operating centres.
 
Start Date: ASAP
Roster: Full-time or Part-time basis


Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive financial support to relevant operating centres.
  • Assist with the 2026 Budget preparation process.
  • Manage Month-End Closing and support Monthly Forecasting.
  • Advise on Capital vs Expense decisions as required.
  • Address ad hoc queries and offer financial support to various teams.
  • Conduct Variance Analysis and provide insights to the business.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • CPA qualification (or actively studying towards).
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar financial role.
  • Experience with Oracle and Connected Planning software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to build relationships quickly and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Confident, deadline-driven, and able to deliver results effectively.
  • Proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
The candidate rate depends on experience.
