Finance Coordinator - International Payables

We at Chandler Macleod are seeking a Finance Coordinator - International Payables to join a fast-paced and dynamic team on a 3-month contract with the possibility of being extended. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Accounts Payable, international transactions, and financial process optimisation. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless processing of overseas supplier invoices, managing reconciliations, and driving efficiency across multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing – Ensure timely processing of overseas supplier and service provider invoices.
  Query Resolution – Work closely with internal teams and vendors to resolve payment queries efficiently.
• Process Optimisation – Identify and implement improvements to streamline workflows and enhance accuracy.
• Cross-Team Collaboration – Partner with the Merchandise and International Supply Chain teams to facilitate smooth financial operations.
• Purchase Document Flow – Maintain uninterrupted financial document movement across multiple systems.
• Month-End & Reconciliations – Manage month-end processes and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

• Advanced Excel skills – Strong proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and reconciliations.
• Strong communication skills – Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
• Problem-solving & analytical mindset – Proactively identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Deadline-driven – Ability to manage workload under time pressure while maintaining accuracy.
• Attention to detail – A keen eye for spotting inconsistencies and ensuring financial integrity.
• Knowledge of International Payables – Understanding of foreign currency, hedging, and international accounting processes.
• SAP & Financial Systems Experience – Exposure to SAP, TM1, GT Nexus, and Access databases is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders – Experience navigating complex financial environments and managing competing priorities.
