Location: Bowen Basin
Roster: 8/6 Day Shift
 
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Exploration Field Technician to join a leading mining client in the Bowen Basin. As a key member of the Exploration team, you'll play a vital role in supporting a variety of field-based activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, where no two days are the same.
 
Responsibilities:

• Support the Exploration team by attending to a range of field activities, ensuring smooth operations across the exploration rounds.
• Work independently in remote field environments, managing various tasks effectively and with attention to detail.
• Carry out geological sampling, data collection, and site assessments as required.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental protocols on site at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of fieldwork and report findings to the Exploration team.

 
About You:

• Previous experience in a similar exploration or field technician role is favourable but not essential.
• Ability to work autonomously, displaying initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in remote, outdoor environments and able to manage physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety.
• A team player with good communication skills and a flexible attitude.
