About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their team on a casual, temporary basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead multi-disciplinary design teams across a range of projects within the water and wastewater sectors. The successful candidate will oversee design delivery, manage project timelines, and ensure that high-quality technical standards and safety practices are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate design teams to deliver effective, value-for-money solutions
• Develop and implement design strategies while managing project costs and schedules
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure project success
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and quality requirements

Qualifications:

• A professional engineering qualification (e.g., Civil or Mechanical Engineering)
• Proven experience in design management or engineering design roles
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in project management or a related field is an advantage
