About the Role
As the Design Manager - Projects, you will:
- Collaborate with internal and external engineers, contract design teams, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional project outcomes.
- Oversee the design process for multiple projects, ensuring consistency, compliance, and alignment with project deliverables.
- Manage schedules, budgets, and design risks while driving innovation, sustainability, and excellence.
- Lead design workshops, resolve challenges, and champion continuous improvement.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design Management: Coordinate and oversee the creation of designs and plans that meet specifications, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Build strong relationships with internal teams, clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project execution.
- Budget & Schedule Oversight: Manage timelines, budgets, and changes to ensure projects stay on track.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Maintain safety, constructability, and quality control in all design activities.
- Continuous Improvement: Encourage innovation, collaboration, and the implementation of best practices to enhance project outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: Proven expertise in water treatment plant design, including managing multidisciplinary design teams.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of design standards, codes, and regulations, with proficiency in design software and tools.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Attributes: A passion for sustainability, innovation, and design excellence in the water treatment industry.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).
