We at Chandler Macleod are seeking Customer Service Representatives to join the Customer Excellence - Faults & Emergency Team. This 12-month contract offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a set start date of Monday, 17 March 2025.

Please note: All successful candidates will be required to complete 4 weeks of full-time training in the office (Monday to Friday) before commencing their rostered part-time or full-time shifts. As such, applicants must have full working rights in Australia.

In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional customer service, respond to enquiries, and provide crucial after-hours support to external business clients. You’ll also play a key role in coordinating and dispatching maintenance jobs, ensuring timely responses to water service interruptions, and maintaining high levels of communication with impacted customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service over the phone, via email, and through website cases.
  • Logging and prioritising jobs, ensuring timely dispatch to maintenance contractors.
  • Providing after-hours support, including alarm monitoring, escalation, and job dispatch.
  • Communicating with customers about water service interruptions to minimise impacts.
  • Demonstrating strong learning agility to handle cross-skilled responsibilities such as customer account enquiries.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in customer service within a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills with strong typing accuracy.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish professional relationships.

Non-Negotiables:
  • Agility and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and varying shifts/hours.
  • High availability and willingness to work Wednesday to Sunday between 1 pm–10 pm (minimum of 20 hours per week, with 5-hour shifts).
  • Strong motivation and work ethic.

Additional Requirements:
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a national police check and must have full working rights in Australia, as training will involve full-time hours for the initial 4 weeks.

Work Environment:
Hybrid working environment with mandatory office days for training, team meetings, and events.
