We’re on the hunt for a skilled CNC Machinist with hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC machines to turn, lathe, and cut various metal sizes, producing precision components for high-stakes, complex equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components according to specifications.
  • Set up machines, load and unload materials, and perform necessary adjustments.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed to maintain accuracy.
  • Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a CNC Operator
  • Fitter & Turner Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of CNC machinery, tools, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of metals and their properties
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain focussed when working under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and practices.
