About the Client:

Government agency tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Our client is currently seeking for an experienced Case Management Officer - Disability to join their busy team for a casual temporary assignment until 31st December 2025. 


About the role

As a Case Management Officer - Disability, you will provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge in legal matters, associated correspondence and organising assessments and may undertake some research and analysis activities. In addition, your key duties are as follows:

  • Receive and register new Administrative Review Tribunal matters.
  • Action and direct correspondence.
  • Analyse and assess Administrative Review Tribunal Applications received by the Agency.
  • Prepare and file Tribunal documents as required for Administrative Review Tribunal Applications received within strict time frames.
  • Assess and respond to risk from processes, including in terms of privacy considerations and priority.
  • Organise assessments to support the decision-making process for case managers.
 

About you

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience as Administration Officer, Business Support, Case Management or similar role, ideally within the disability industry
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using MS Office products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage various internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to handle tasks with competing deadlines and priorities.

  • $43.82 per hour + super
