About the Client:

Government agency tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Currently seeking for a highly experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join their busy team for a casual 12-months temporary assignment.


About the Role

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for building and maintaining solutions that include reporting and solving business problems using data. In addition, your key duties are as follows:

  • Work with stakeholders to understand and document requirements and address business needs though transforming raw data into reports and insights.
  • Develop and deliver of high-quality reporting products in consultation with the Business areas
  • Increase efficiency in the division by creating rich and drillable visualisations for all reporting
  • Manage assigned reporting projects end-to-end including requirements gathering, managing workflow and development.
  • Ensure all report products are well tested and documented, and releases contain appropriate change notes and documentation.

 
About You

To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • Expert level of data skills and experience in Business Intelligence Analysis and Data arena with demonstrable delivery of business value. 
  • Skills in building analytical assets such as Forecasting, Predictive Modelling and Text Analysis will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in commercial visualisation tools
  • Ability to wear Business Analyst’s hat, where necessary, to elicit requirements to develop and deliver elegant data solutions.
  • Relevant training and certifications will be well regarded
