Asset Investment Planner – 16-Month Contract
Location: Fremantle

Our client, a leading organisation based in Fremantle, is seeking an experienced Asset Investment Planner to join their Asset Management, Strategy & Planning team on a 16-month contract. This critical role will be responsible for the development and execution of short, medium, and long-term asset investment plans, encompassing maintenance and capital investments of up to $100 million.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist with the development and delivery of asset investment plans ensuring customer requirements are incorporated into all asset investment decisions
• Prepare asset investment planning and asset investment delivery
• Monitor, and report on asset investment plan delivery and variations (change management)
• Prepare and appraise asset investment options applying whole life costing principles using financial modelling for all asset classes
• Prepare project initiation requests for capital investment projects
• Prepare asset investment business cases
• Liaise with Strategy, Planning and Performance Division across asset investment planning

• Tertiary qualification in engineering/ commercial discipline is desirable
• Experience with business case, financial model development and asset investment proposals
• Experience with Oracle Maintenance Cloud and other Oracle systems is desirable
• Experience with Port infrastructure desirable
• Knowledge of financial principles, including discounted cash flow analysis, project valuation, accounting principles and discount rate determination methods
• Knowledge of numerical modelling, including its use for developing demand, operational and financial models
• Strong oral and written communication that effectively articulates complex ideas to develop business cases
• Advanced use of Microsoft BI, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software
