Our client is seeking to engage an Quality Assurance Officer 

Location: Canberra, ACT

Employment: MAX TERM , 5  months renewable

Eligibility/Security Requirement: Ability to obtain BASELINE CLEARANCE


The role

The Quality Assurance Team Leaders are responsible for administration work and assuring the decisions and reviews made by the IDMs are correctly drafted and reflect the legislation, rules and policy of the National Redress Scheme .

What you will do

  • conduct detailed research and analysis
  • keep accurate and comprehensive records (including report writing, case notes, and official records)
  • provide quality control and quality assurance on applications for redress and check the work quality of others (IDMs)
  • communicate confidently through written and verbal communication and present messages in a clear, concise and articulate way
  • develop and maintain stakeholder relationships, both internal and external
  • apply legislation, policies, procedures and records management requirements
  • apply high level research and analytical skills to make accurate conclusions based on available information and legislation
  • Apply relevant redactions to documents against the Policy Guidelines
  • demonstrate self-awareness and ability to self-manage in a complex, changing environment whilst in a diverse team with high workload in a high-risk environment
  • ability to prioritise workloads/tasks and meet deadlines
  • strong attention to detail
  • administration work
