Our client is seeking multiple Administration Officers for our Federal Government client based in Canberra or Armidale for a 3 month contract.
 
Administration Officers assist the work of Registration Management through effective secretariat and administrative support. You will be effective at managing your workload and building rapport, you will apply expertise and attention to detail in record keeping, data management and client services to processing of applications, business improvement projects, and other operational matters as required.
 
Must be Australian Citizen
Clearance: Ability to obtain clearance
Location: Canberra or Armidale
Contract: 3 months Full time preferred / part time considered
Multiple roles availible 

Key responsibilities include:

    • Responding to emails in generic email mailbox and identifying and escalating issues in a timely manner.
    • Building and sustaining positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
    • Provide basic advice using sound judgement and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues in an appropriate and timely manner.
    • Develop a knowledge of the clients operational policy and legislative framework.
    • Utilise information and databases, input and extract data, and other associated duties to ensure data integrity.
    • Displaying a proactive commitment to working towards meeting team goals and problem solving.
    • Perform accurate data entry
    • Assist in the preparation of manuals, reports, guidelines and policies.
    • Apply time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed within set timeframes.
Essential skills required :
    • Experience in performing administrative tasks with a high level of attention to detail, including those associated with data entry, secretariat support, record keeping, and resolving client enquiries.
    • Demonstrated experience using a variety of computer-based software, including Microsoft Office suite.
    • Demonstrated experience in working in a fast-paced environment while effectively communicating, maintaining accuracy and time managing to ensure delivery of competing priorities.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment in order to achieve a desired outcome.
    • Proven ability to learn new skills and identify opportunities for improvement to support team operations.
    • A demonstrated history of adhering to confidential commercial information provisions (or similar).
    • Experience in managing large amounts of data.
