About the Project
The Broadsound Solar Farm Project is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at enhancing our renewable energy capabilities. Located approximately 180KM inland from Rockhampton, QLD, this 360 MW solar farm will have the capacity to power 115,000 homes once completed.
Construction is set to begin in April 2025, and we are excited to offer local candidates the opportunity to be part of this state-of-the-art renewable energy project. With approximately 634,000 solar panels, this project represents a significant step towards a greener future.
Employees at this site will be accommodated at an on-site camp, with transport provided between Rockhampton and the camp at the start and end of each swing. You can find out more about the camp below.

Role Types
We are hiring for a range of role types including:
- Storespeople
- Labourers
- Telehandler operators
- Site Cleaners
- Truck drivers / Water Cart Operators
- Quality Assurance personnel
Working hours for this project will be from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Saturday, and from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Sundays. The roster will follow a 2-weeks-on, 1-week-off schedule.

About the Camp
Our fully maintained camp, located just 5 minutes from the project site, offers a range of amenities to ensure a comfortable stay for our employees. These include:
- Fully licensed Wet Mess
- Commercial kitchen and dining facilities
- Wellness area and gym
- Laundry facilities
- Outdoor recreational area with a half-court basketball court and BBQs
- Retail shop
Each employee will have their own room equipped with:
- Single bed
- Desk and chair
- Ensuite
- Air conditioner
- Bar fridge
- Wardrobe
- TV
- Linen and towels
- Wireless Internet
