Warehouse Operator-Port Macquarie

Our client is a well-established reinforcing steel supplier with over 100 years of experience, serving the market from Wingham to Coffs Harbour. With a strong presence in Port Macquarie for around 50 years, they are now looking for a dedicated individual to join their warehouse team.

About the role

• This role will involve working alongside two long-term employees, with the potential to become a permanent position.
• Initially, you will be operating cutting and bending equipment, but you will also receive training on various other equipment, including a Forklift, overhead crane, and MIG welder. A forklift license is preferred but not essential
• Safety is a top priority, there is an extensive safety system in place, which you will be trained in to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
• You must be capable of working effectively in a small, hands-on team within a busy warehouse environment.
• Experience in warehousing, the steel or construction industries and experience with MiG welding is highly desirable.
