Media Specialist

This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity for a highly creative and technically capable individual to bring the MATelec brand to life through visual storytelling.

As Media Specialist, you will play a central role in the Marketing team, responsible for capturing, producing, and editing high-quality video and photo content that aligns with MATelec’s brand strategy and communication goals. If you're passionate about crafting engaging stories, working hands-on with media production, and contributing to a dynamic team, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
Media Creation and Production

• Capture and produce high-quality video and photography content for a variety of uses.
• Operate advanced camera equipment and apply best practices in media production.
• Edit content using Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, Lightroom, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Develop graphics, basic animations, and design sets for in-house video production.
• Storyboard, script, and contribute creatively to content planning and execution.

Creative Direction

• Translate briefs into visually compelling content that aligns with brand identity.
• Ensure consistency across all media with MATelec’s tone, style, and messaging.
• Stay current with visual media trends and apply innovative techniques.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders to deliver authentic and engaging content.
• Create a supportive and professional environment for individuals being filmed or photographed.

Project Management

• Plan and manage shoots from pre-production through to final delivery.
• Coordinate on-site productions, including occasional travel if required.
• Deliver content according to timelines and communication plans.

Performance and Development

• Seek ongoing feedback and professional development to enhance creative output.
• Contribute to a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and innovation.

About You

Skills and Experience

• Advanced photography and videography skills with professional camera operation.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong understanding of design, animation, and multimedia storytelling.
• Excellent time management, project coordination, and attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
