Contractor Management Specialist 

Chandler Macleod are currently seeking a Contractor Management Specialist to join the team in the Bowen Basin!

ROSTER: 4/3 -  FIFO/DIDO
EMPLOYMENT TERM: 3 month contract with the opportunity to transition to Permanent Employment

Critical Roles:

• Maintain currency of appointment and ensure all vendors engaged at site are managed according to the CMF
• Nominate as Contract/Vendor Owner for any contract partner engagements that fall within allocated work area and complete formal appointment

 
Strategy and Planning:

• Forecasting, analysis and project planning to ensure optimal outcomes
• Advise internal stakeholders on suitable course of action with regards to sourcing, engagement and performance management of contract partners

 
Onboarding/Offboarding

• Manage onboarding/offboarding in accordance with the CMF

 
Management and Execution:

• Schedule, conduct, record, distribute, action, and continuously improve
• Document management and recording keeping
• Coordinate issues, settlement & disputes with Supply & Contract Owners/Superintendents
• Coordinate any change in contract partner work scopes, including completion of any changes to supporting documentation and processes
• Draft Correspondence for Site Specific changes to Contract
• Review and monitor contract KPI’s

Governance:

• Conduct field verifications and audits of contract partner activities and verify equipment and tooling is in good condition, maintained and fit for purpose
• Report on key trends and prioritised areas for improvement initiatives

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify continuous improvement initiatives to drive process, cost and productivity improvements
• Support and develop stakeholders
