Government agency tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Our client are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join their busy team for a 12-month temporary assignment.
About the role
The Business Intelligence Analyst will focus on collaborating with key business areas in the development and implementation of consumable reports and analytics to address key risks and emerging trends.
• Undertaking data analytics and reporting, producing reports, interpreting data and analysing results using standard statistical techniques.
• Extracting and presenting data in Microsoft Excel and result comparison chart formats.
• Developing and implementing data collection systems and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and data quality.
• Preparing and presenting business intelligence reports to a variety of stakeholders.
• Coordinating branch reporting requirements to monitor and track improvement outcomes.
• Undertaking quality assurance processes, including sample audit programs and reports, quality trend analysis and outcomes analysis.
• Implementing and managing processes and management systems to track branch and Partner performance and achieve desired results.
About you
- Previous experience in a project management or any similar role, within a large organisation
- Ability to use data to derive insights and recommendations for performance improvements
- Data visualisation that translates complex data into key messages
- Ability to interpret data in the context of business operations and priorities
- Undertaking data analytics and reporting, producing reports, interpreting data and analysing results using standard statistical techniques
- Extracting, presenting and result comparison chart formats
- Developing and implementing data collection systems and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and data quality
- Preparing and presenting business intelligence reports using Salesforce analytical tools, SAS and Microsoft Excel to various stakeholders
- Coordinating branch reporting requirements to monitor and track improvement outcomes
- Undertaking quality assurance processes, including quality checks with reports, quality trend analysis and outcomes analysis
- Implementing and managing processes and management systems to track branch and Partner performance and achieve desired results
- Working with internal stakeholders to understand business context and data requirements
- Advanced Excel skills, Microsoft Office 365, SAS
- 12-month temporary assignment
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
- $55.24 per hour + super
- Immediate start pending clearances
- Richmond and Newcastle location + hybrid working arrangements available
