Since 2007 we have been engaged in flexible RPO services by one of the largest departments in the Australian Public Service.
Since 2007 Chandler Macleod has been engaged in flexible RPO services by one of the largest departments in the Australian Public Service (APS), employing approximately 20,000 staff in a wide variety of roles. Chandler Macleod have provided MSP style delivery of contingent workforces during peak periods allowing the organisation to flex its capability to address fluctuating market demands. This has seen Chandler Macleod assisting with volume and project-based recruitment ranging from APS1 to EL2 roles across multiple divisions.
Our Solutions
All projects involved Chandler Macleod configuring and receiving applications through the Department’s eRecruit applicant tracking system. Chandler Macleod administered end to end processes typically creating marketing collateral including job specific microsites, facilitating online assessments, telephone or video interviews, as well as panel interviews or assessment centres. Each project was typically fulfilled within a 12 to 16-week timeframe from project planning to offers. Recent projects have included separate diversity jobs to improve the recruitment and retention of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander candidates as well as refugee/humanitarian recruitment to open doors for candidates with adverse backgrounds.
As part of our long-term recruiting service provision, business and role requirements have varied along with key stakeholders involved from within the Department. Through a vast array of recruitment exercises, dedicated Chandler Macleod project managers and personnel have effectively consulted, embedded and executed best-practice recruitment and assessment solutions, identifying BestFit™ employees for the Department.
